Concentrator Pan. This is not a gold pan. This is a pan designed to rapidly concentrate large volumes of material before panning. Simply shovel in 2 or 3 shovels full of gravel, shake the pan to stratify the material until the gold drops into the miners moss and repeat until the moss is full of heavies. There is a lip on the ends to keep gold from migrating out the ends and V mat under miners moss lengthwise to hold the gold as well. An effective way to speed up panning by an order of magnitude while ( we think ) still being legal when only panning is permitted. Super light weight and easy to pack for those long hikes where you dont want want to pack in equipment.
